We had a lovely stay in Casa Verde. It is situated in a quiet area and close enough to Cahuità center. The beach is just a few steps away! You can also spot many animals from Casa Verde: Tucans, sloths and howler monkeys! Annie was very welcoming and kind and also helped us out along the way. We definitely recommend Casa Verde!

Annie was very proactive. She contacted me each morning to see how the prior day went. Her recommendations for things to do and where to eat were spot on.
Annie recommended a place to stay in San Jose on my late flight in. It was close to the airport and just as she described.
Annie had a cab waiting for me at the Limon Airport.
Finally, she was flexible on check out, even though photographers were coming to take pictures of her place.

We loved the little things she shared like the guidebooks and kitchen essentials. Clean, comfortable, and walkable to several destinations in town. Casa Verde is a cool, comfortable and simple two bedroom, two bathroom house with a sweet outdoor sitting and hammock area and a decent fully equipped kitchen. Only a minute walk to a soft black sand beach and 10 minute walk to the village of Cahuita with coffee shops and good restaurants.
I spent three very enjoyable weeks there, with perfect weather every day (it rained often at night). The owner and manager were instantly responsive and helpful. Cahuita also has a very interesting national park and beautiful beaches all within easy walking distance from the distance. There is some fun night life nearby, but don't expect a party town. Highly recommended.

This house is so beautiful and it has so much artistic detail. The beach is a very short walk, and 2 bars are just down the road for drinks on the beach. What an amazing treat to stay here! Annie was a lovely host, and easy to communicate.

Amazing house! Clean, comfortable and stylish. Comfiest bed I have ever slept on in Costa Rica. Kitchen was well stocked and everything worked perfectly. Very close to the beach In the quiet neighborhood of Cahuita. Total privacy, never saw or heard our wonderful host other than for check in.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Annie's place. The house is conveniently located near the beach and the town of Cahuita. Annie is very responsive and communication with her is easy. Although she was not in town during our stay, her property manager, Leslie, was excellent. She remained attentive to our needs and was available to promptly answer our questions and helped us. Casa Verde is a wonderful place to relax and recharge one's battery.

Annie's "Casa Verde" is located in a central and cozy location in Cahuita. The beach and restaurants were conveniently located. Annie was a great host and provided helpful information about things to do prior to and during our stay. Casa Verde is a cozy house with plenty of space and comfort. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful scenic cottage. The view around the cottage is very typical of Costa Rican rain forest scenery. It was very beautiful and authentic.

Staying at Casa Verde was comfortable and convenient. The house was cute and spacious- with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a balcony. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and bedroom air conditioner which made for a good night's sleep. Best was the location- easy, quick walk to beautiful Black Beach- 10 to 15 minute walk to town and the amazing national park. Annie was a wonderful host- super friendly, super helpful, responsive and available making great restaurant recommendations, arranging pickups, taxis and guides and helping with a variety of travel issues that popped up.
We highly recommend Casa Verde.

This place is a gem. Close to the beach and to town, you will fall in love and never want to leave. We enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks as well as making our own meals in the well equipped and spacious kitchen. Annie was very responsive and helpful. I hope we can return some day

We loved staying at Annie’s place. It was a perfect location. 3-min walk to the beach and we walked into town every night (15-min walk) and felt very safe. A big plus was the comfortable bed and AC upstairs. Annie

The setting here is absolutely superb. I don’t know where to begin. The area is so peaceful and magical. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach of Playa Negra. The waves are fun and the beach expansive for nice long walks. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a visit to Cahuita National Park is a must. The home itself was exactly what we needed. Private, quaint and natural setting. Fully equipped and Uber comfortable bed. Annie is a great hostess readily available and full of great recommendations. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!

Annie is an amazing host! She answered a million questions instantly and had tips and ideas for our stay. The property is walking distance to town and the beach and the national park. Great location with solid wifi, a kitchen, and extra touches like blankets (the a/c upstairs is the real deal!) and an umbrella. Read the listing about the stairs - Annie sets clear expectations. They weren't an issue for us at all. The patio is beautiful and secluded and we could hear the howler monkeys every morning. Thanks for a great stay!

Annie is the most amazing host! She was so helpful before our trip, giving advice and booking transfers for us and very quick to respond. She was also very helpful in answering the couple of questions we had while we were there. Her house is a great place to stay. Plenty of space for 4 inside and out, including a very cool outdoor covered seating area, with hammocks and washing lines for wet beach things. It's set in the most amazing yard of exotic plants - so green - and all around are the sights, smells and sounds of the jungle. We barely used the aircon as the house is so cleverly designed to make the most of the sea breezes. It's also so close to the beach, Playa Negra, the supermarket and plenty of great places to eat and drink. There's a very helpful folder with details and recommendations in the house, so check it out! Although we didn't see sloths on the property, we saw several as we walked around, especially in the evenings, as you'd expect. I'd definitely recommend visiting the Cahuita National Park. It's just a short walk from Annie's, and the jungle and beaches there are stunning. Definitely get a guide with a telescope, if you can, as we got to see so many animals, plants and insects on our tour - Capuchin and Howler monkeys, sloths, bats, raccoons, toucans, lizards, iguanas, turtles, poison dart frogs and so many more. It was fabulous. Some of us also went snorkelling, which was also amazing. Thanks again, Annie, for being such a great host and for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Annie’s place was great! Super close to the beach and town. We enjoyed hanging out on the front patio relaxing and listening to the ocean and wildlife. Although it is not beach front, or ocean view, it’s literally right down the road. The home was spotless and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable one we had anywhere in Costa Rica! The air conditioning was a plus, since the master bedroom is upstairs. We saw howler monkeys in the trees from the windows in the bathroom. Annie was a lovely host, and although she lives on the property, we still had all of the privacy we needed (and quick assistance if we needed it!) Highly recommend this home. Cahuita is a great little town. We loved Reggae Bar and the National Park!

We had so much fun in Cahuita and absolutely loved Casa Verde!! The house was so cute and tucked away so it felt private but still close to the main restaurants, bars and beach! Annie was so helpful with providing recommendations and tips for our adventures in Cahuita and throughout Costa Rica!
